REVEREND Ready To Bring Metal Back To Forefront Of South Texas Music Scene

REVEREND, who recently announced the addition of vocalist Michael Lance (ex-ANCIENT CROSS) to the group's ranks, is preparing to headline of the Metal United: Aftershock show tonight (Sunday, September 3) at the Bonds 007 rock bar in San Antonio, Texas. "We are ready to help bring metal back to the forefront of the South Texas music scene," states Lance.

REVEREND's "Resurrection Tour" kicked off in Fort Worth, Texas on August 26, with the band's headlining appearance at the "Rockers Against Hunger" food drive. The tour will bring REVEREND back to late REVEREND/METAL CHURCH frontman David Wayne's hometown of Zillah, WA to headline the Evergreen MusicFest on Saturday, September 9. Upcoming REVEREND dates now include:

Sep. 03 - San Antonio, TX @ Metal United: Aftershock
Sep. 09 - Zillah, WA @ Evergreen MusicFest
Sep. 10 - Tacoma, WA @ The Cat Box

Wayne died on May 10, 2005 due to complications from injuries he sustained in a head-on automobile accident several months earlier. He was 47 years old.
